Enforcement Of The Act 686
International Trade in Endangered Species Act 2008 together with two Regulations under it namely the Regulations on Permits, Certificates, Registration and Fees and the Regulations on Rescue Centers were gazetted and come into effect on 28 December 2009.
The enforcement of INTESA enables comprehensive control of species listed under Appendices I, II and III of the CITES Convention (scheduled species). These scheduled species are contained in the Third Schedule of INTESA.

The implementation of the fee rate as in the First Schedule of the Regulation on Permits, Certificates, Registration and Fees effective from 1 July 2010.
