ACT 686 - INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES OF 2008: IMPLEMENTATION AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

The International Trade in Endangered Species Act 2008 [Act 686] (INTESA) was approved by the Parliament of Malaysia and was gazetted on 14 February 2008. Consequently, a regulation on Permit, Certificate, Registration and Fees was gazetted on 28 December 2009. Hence, the implementation of Act 686 became effective in Malaysia beginning July 1, 2010.
