What Is The Wood-Based Industry Apprenticeship Scheme (Furniture) And How To Participate In The Programme?
The apprentice programme is for PMR/SPM holders to pursue a training course in the production of wooden furniture. The 16-month programme, comprising theory and on-the-job training, prepares a trainee for a career in the wood-based manufacturing sector, specifically in furniture production, armed with the specific skills and technical knowledge. Training is conducted in WISDEC and at participating furniture plants.
