Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB)
MTIB is pleased to announce and congratulates YB Tuan Jugah Muyang on his appointment as the new Chairman of MTIB. He succeeds YB Tuan Wong Tack effective from 1 June 2020. He is the current Member of Parliament for Lubok Antu, Sarawak.
YB Jugah, 56, was born on April 3, 1964 in Nanga Kumpang Engkili, Lubok Antu, Sarawak. YB Jugah, who holds a Master’s Degree of Project Management and Bachelor of Human Resource Management from Open University Malaysia (OUM) started his career in government sector as a Meteorology Officer from 1986 until 2016. Based on his contribution to the state of Sarawak, he was received several awards including Ahli Bintang Sarawak (ABS) in September 2011 and Pingat Perkhidmatan Setia (PPS) in November 2012.
MTIB’s Board Members and its management team would like to take this opportunity to wish YB Jugah success in all endeavors and looks forward for his leadership as a new Chairman and thanks YB Tuan Wong Tack for his leadership and guidance during his tenure as the preceding Chairman.
