A Workshop on Introduction to Lean Management and GMP - 5S
Once again, the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) is organizing the 2018 Lean Management and Good Manufacturing Practices Programme for the Peninsular Malaysian timber industry. The purpose of this programme is to encourage process improvements work process particularly in manufacturing processes such as floor lay out, logisitics management, maintenance and others in order to increase a company’s effiency. It also encourages the reduction of wastages and the increase of manufacturing productivity. Both programmes are scheduled to start end of October 2018
In order for us to better explain about this programme in further details, we shall be organising a series of workshop entitled “An Introduction to Lean Management dan GMP – 5S” throughout Peninsular Malaysia. Details are as follows:

This workshop shall provide a greater understanding on the concept of Lean Management and GMP – 5S particularly on the methods to eliminate waste, continuous process improvement, and as well the concept of 5S and how to apply in todays working manufacturing factory.
