The Malaysian Grading Rules For Sawn Hardwood Timber 2009 Edition and Malaysian Grading Rules For Rubberwood Sawn Timber

 

In order to further strengthen the timber industry in Malaysia, The Malaysian Grading Rules for Sawn Hardwood Timber 2009 (MGR Edition 2009) and The Malaysian Grading Rules for Rubberwood Sawn Timber (MGRR 2013) have been established to meet the current market requirements. One of the regulations that has been implemented to assist the Timber Graders carried out grading activities is the "Instruction to Timber Graders" (ITG). To ensure the export of sawn timber meets the current technical regulations and rules, it is advised that the  "Instruction to Timber Graders" (ITG) version 2018 has been issued and will be effective from January 2, 2019.
