The furniture promotion centre was established under the Ninth Malaysia Plan with the objectives of :

1. Increasing Bumiputera furniture sales through activities conducted at the centre;
2. Establishing a networking center where exhibition space will be provided for Bumiputera entrepreneurs to promote their furniture as well as increasing their market shares at domestic and international levels.

The furniture promotion centre in Kota Damansara will serve as the Design Incubation Centre (DIC). It will be a one-stop center where furniture designers will design and able to provide the latest designs to customers. On the other hand, the furniture promotion centre located in Nusa Bestari, Johor is promoting furniture for home and office.

The centre has been in operation since 2009 to cater customer demand in Johor Bahru and Singapore. Likewise, the furniture promotion centre in Alamesra, Kota Kinabalu is promoting furniture for home and office. The center is able to meet the demands of customers who require quality Bumiputera
