MICCOS 2007 TIMBER SHOWCASE

MTIB will be participating in the Malaysia International Commodity Conference & Showcase, MICCOS 2007 , to be held from 3 – 8 July 2007 at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur . At the Timber Showcase , the latest happenings in the timber-based sector will be put on view, from products with state-of-the-art technology to creative wood items with a touch of heritage. The Timber Showcase will highlight the following:

•  Forest plantation;

•  Biocomposites, R&D and technology;

•  Traditional application of timber;

•  Use of timber in everyday life;

•  Contemporary application of timber;

•  Modular house; and

•  Creative wood products

All are invited to browse through the Timber Showcase and be enlightened and educated on the developments in the timber industry, and enjoy the lighter fare on the legacy of timber and forestry industries.
