in this context means a company that supplies timber. |

Timber Supplied |
|
Timber,
whether treated or untreated that is supplied by the timber supplier
and treater as listed in the List of Certified Timber Suppliers and
Timber Treaters . |

|
Application
for Registration |
|
Applications
can be made by completing the registration form for timber supplier;

Requirements
for registration as supplier |

Company
must own a sawmill
Company must possess a minimum of one band saw
Company must be registered with the State Forest Department.
Company must be registered with The Registration of Business (ROB)
or Registration of Company (ROC)
Member of Malaysian Wood Industries Association (MWIA) or Persatuan
Pengusaha Kayu Kayan dan Perabot Bumiputera Malaysia (PEKA)

Invoice record (date, size, timber name, class of commodity and quantity)
Operation manual of treatment chamber
Treatment chamber maintenance records
Other Quality Control System (it any) - a quality system being used
to give a guarantee for quality of timber supplied.

Application to be listed as Timber Supplier and Treater
|
|
Application
can be made by completing the form MTIB/QAS/CST-1 for Timber Supplier
and/or MTIB/QAS/CST-2 for Timber Treater, whichever is applicable
and submit together with the required documents to :
