MTIB Services With GST

Dear valued clients,

The Government of Malaysia has announced the implementation of the Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 6% during the tabling of the 2014 Budget on 25 October 2013, replacing the existing Sales and Service Tax (SST) effective 1st April 2015.

Mandatory for local authorities and statutory bodies that are involved in making mixed supplies and supplies in relation to Regulations & Enforcement (R&E) functions, please be informed that MTIB will be charging GST; where GST will be added at the prevailing rate to all invoices on all applicable goods and services supplied to you (other than supplies that fall under the scope of R&E).

We will also be enhancing our Tax Invoices issued to you in order to be fully-compliant and to enable you to claim GST input tax credits, where entitled.
