COMMON FACILITIES

Page Created : May 22, 2008

The Furniture Industry Parks or Taman Industri Perabot (TIP) are developed as a collaborative effort between the federal and state governments as well as the private sector to support the Government's Bumiputera Commercial and Industrial Community Programme. The parks bring together Bumiputera furniture manufacturers in a location that is equipped with common-user facilities such as kiln drying, preservation and finishing plants.

Presently, there are three kiln drying plants located in Pahang (Temerloh), Selangor (Ulu Yam) and Trengganu (Setiu) and two furniture finishing centres in Melaka (Bukit Rambai) and Trengganu (Setiu).
